These meetings take place every Friday at 3 p.m. and offer families the opportunity to explore the local gardens together. Since its founding in 2009, the multi-generational house in Plauen has established itself as a real meeting place for people of all ages. It was created from the merger of the Spiel-Spaß-Kindertreff e.V. family center and the Diakonie senior citizens' office. There are numerous offers here that meet the needs of both children and older people.

Diverse offers for all generations

The Multi-Generation House's Action Program IV includes several focus areas, including an open meeting place, expanded child care and cross-generational offerings. These programs are designed to promote exchange and collaboration between generations. Since 2012, Action Program II has also focused on important topics such as aging and care issues, voluntary commitment and educational integration.

The multi-generational house is run by Spiel-Spaß-Kindertreff e.V., which is also responsible for the senior citizens' office and the family center. This connection ensures that all offerings are tailored to the needs of the community. Visitors can find out about the various programs at the central contact point at Albertplatz 12, Plauen or by calling 03741 220212. Further information can also be found at Diakonie Plauen.

The garden rounds not only offer an opportunity for exchange and encounters, but also for participants to actively participate. Parents and grandparents are warmly invited to contribute their ideas and suggestions to make the event varied.

These actions create a space that offers young and old a valuable opportunity for social networking and promotes an appreciation for nature. The summer holidays in Plauen are also a time of discovery and learning together.
