Tennis club Schönau celebrates 50 years full of joy and commitment!

Schönau, Deutschland - On May 27, 2025, the tennis club Schönau e.V. celebrated its 50th anniversary. Numerous guests came to the anniversary celebration, including Wolfgang Lais, a founding member of the association. The current chairman Stefan Ganzmann honored him for his longstanding, now passive membership in the club. In his speech, Mayor Peter Schelshorn spoke about how important TC Schönau is as a social and sporting meeting point in the region, and emphasized the club's excellent youth work.

This year not only the anniversary was celebrated at TC Schönau, but also some improvements in the club premises. The club has installed a new kitchen, a newly occupied terrace and modern LED lighting. These investments are intended to help create a pleasant environment for the members. The commitment of those responsible and the investments in the infrastructure reflect the objective of offering attractive play opportunities for both the existing members and for holiday guests. He received the silver BTV honorary badge for his 25-year-old committed board work in the tennis club.
