The traditional street festival of the Schönau Town Music is just around the corner and promises an exciting weekend full of music, cuisine and entertainment. On July 5th and 6th, 2025, the square between the town hall and the high school, in the shadow of the Wiesentäler Minster, will be the venue for this popular event.
The festival begins on Saturday at 5 p.m. The Öflingen Music Association is organizing the opening with a varied brass music repertoire that begins at 6 p.m. The main act of the evening is the dance and show band "Mr. Bee", which will take the stage from 8 p.m. with rousing rock and pop sounds. The band consists of four talented members: Katrin Braun (vocals), Thomas Braun (drums), Johannes Asal (keyboard) and Christoph Buck (guitar).
Diverse entertainment for the whole family
The festival Sunday starts at 11 a.m. with a morning pint concert by Stadtmusik Wehr, where singing along and clapping are not only permitted, but expressly encouraged. Afterwards, the traditional costume band Präg and the traditional costume band Häg-Ehrsberg will provide further musical entertainment.
The culinary offering is also promising: on Saturday, visitors can enjoy juicy grilled steaks, sliced meat with spaetzle and crisp salads. On Sunday, in addition to these delicacies, you can also try homemade baked goods from the coffee shop. A cocktail bar with fruity refreshments completes the dining experience.
Children's activities and raffle
There is a comprehensive children's program for younger guests, which includes, among other things, face painting from 1 p.m. So that families can spend an unforgettable day, the street festival is designed as an event for all age groups.
Another highlight is the big raffle, which offers attractive prizes on Sunday from 5 p.m. The Stadtmusik Schönau cordially invites everyone to take part in this festival weekend and toast a wonderful celebration together.
