The emergency services had to move out in two separate incidents, with the most serious accident near St. Egyden am Steinfeld left a frightening picture.

Four male occupants suffered fatal injuries in this accident, while two other occupants were seriously injured. Tragically, five out of six inmates were thrown out of the vehicle, and the resuscitation measures of the emergency services were unsuccessful. The car finally landed on the roof in a forest after it was collided with trees. The B17 was closed to the scene of the accident to 030 a.m. to enable the investigations. The police are currently investigating because it is unclear who the vehicle has directed. At the order of the public prosecutor, the vehicle was secured.

Another serious accident in Sollenau

in parallel to this incident, there was also a traffic accident on the B17, height kilometer 30.8. Here the Sollenau fire brigade had to be alerted, together with the fire brigades from Schönau an der Triesting and Günselsdorf. The accident occurred between two cars for an unknown cause.

A driver was thrown out of the vehicle and had to be reanimated at the scene of the accident. He was then flown to a hospital with an emergency doctor helicopter. The second driver was also taken to the hospital with the emergency services. The police in Lower Austria as well as the emergency services and the ÖAMTC flight rescue were on hand. After a period of around four hours, the accident vehicles were recovered and secured.
