Abi Vegas: Schönau graduates celebrate with records and musical hits!
Schönau, Deutschland - On July 15, 2025, the Schönau high school was adopted by its 40 high school graduates in a festive certificate. The motto of the event, "Abi Vegas - pokered by every point", reflected the exciting and challenging school year. In the festively decorated auditorium, the graduates received their maturity certificate, including three students with the excellent average of 1.0. Deputy headmistress Karen Albrecht opened the celebration with a reflective speech, while Mayor Peter Schelshorn wished the students all the best for their future.
In his speech, the headmaster Jörg Rudolf addressed the hope that the students at the school have grown into responsible and human individuals. Smilla Meierhofer kept the high school graduate speech, who looked back on her memories of school with Wortwitz and Irony. The evening was also shaped by musical performances, including by Sofiia Naumova, Aline Gloth, Kim Keller, Sebastian Schlick and Andreas Veit, who delighted with the song "Alors on Danse".awards and honors
The celebrations also included the allocation of various prices for outstanding services. Smilla Meierhofer received both the bushel price in German and the Franz Schnabel medal. Jonas Löffler and Oleksandr Klymenko were awarded the German Mathematician Association, while Elena Kahl was happy to receive a special prize for English. Sophie Hügel and Mario Marin were honored for their sporting achievements.
Other distinguished included Emilie Dehne, Paula Zettler and Sofiia Naumova for Catholic Religion. In addition, Sofiia Naumova received the IOW award for technology and natural sciences as well as the social award of the high school and the price of the city of Schönau for French. A number of students were recognized for their commitment to the student representative (SMV), press work and as ski mentors. The celebration ended with another musical contribution by Sofiia Naumova, Aline Gloth and Kim Keller with the song "Thunder Rumbles".
A look into the future
In the greeting, Anna Kiefer, the chairwoman of the association of friends of the Schönau grammar school, emphasized the importance of cohesion and constant commitment. Subscribe certificates were awarded to 40 students, 22 of whom achieved an average of 2.1. Particularly noteworthy is Lina Hackner, who reached the dream cut of 1.0 and was also awarded many times, among other things by the German Mathematician Association and for their best overall performance by the association of friends of the high school. The other graduates, such as Augustin Bernauer and Celine Held, also received honors for their outstanding achievements in mathematics, physics, art and sport.
The celebration came to a conclusion with a festive prom in the multi -purpose hall in Schönau, which was lovingly decorated by the students. Certainly this evening will remember the graduates for a long time while leaving a new phase of life.
