The Pentecost weekend in Jerichower Land promises a variety of events that are suitable for young and old. On June 9th, the creative market at the Pareyer Paltrockmühle opens its doors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organized by the Parey local history association, the market invites you to browse and linger while coffee and cake are on offer.

InJerichovThe traditional Whitsun beer tapping in the monastery is on the agenda on June 7th. From 6 p.m., visitors can expect an evening with free entry, beer, grilled food and live music. Before that, at 2 p.m., a detective adventure for children will be offered. In order to take part in the event, parents must get a ticket for 8 euros as the number of participants is limited.
InGenthinrocks the DJ party in the Genthiner Eisenbahn on June 8th from 8 p.m., where hits from the 80s, 90s and 2000s will be played. The first part includes the music of Max Kowalski, which adapts the amusing story of “Pierrot lunaire” by Albert Giraud, while the second part features the concert melodrama “The Witch’s Song” by Max von Schillings. Kowalski takes on the dramatic part of the declamator and undertakes to captivate the audience with his performance. Both works illuminate the themes of humanism and human weaknesses, each linked to a unique musical performance.
