The engine has an output of 408 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds. The top speed is 220 km/h. Features such as a leather interior, adaptive sports seats and a heated GT sports steering wheel ensure a luxurious driving experience. The model also has innovative technologies such as a head-up display with augmented reality and a panoramic roof.

In terms of electrification, the second generation of the Macan will be launched in 2024, equipped with a fully electric drive. The Leipzig factory already produces a variety of drive variants, including gasoline, hybrid and electric vehicles on one production line. The new model's high-voltage battery has a capacity of 100 kWh and enables faster charging with 800-volt technology, meaning a charge time from 10 to 80 percent is possible in just around 21 minutes. With a range of up to 612 km, the Macan contributes to sustainable mobility.
