Last weekend the city of Lübtheen experienced its annual children's festival in the schoolyard of the Lindenschule. On this festive occasion, the organizers mobilized around 500 visitors who enjoyed various activities and attractions. The aim of the children's festival is to create inexpensive offers for families so that every child can participate. Mayor Ute Lindenau emphasized the engagement of the adults in the community at the opening, which only makes it possible to carry out the festival. The city receives support not only from local companies, but also from the fire brigade as well as many individuals who donate time or money, bake cake or look after the activities. This community performance significantly contributes to the success of the festival, which is always a highlight for the children.The children's festival offers a variety of participatory games and attractions that are very popular with the little guests. One of the attractions is the large play area that is equipped with colorful play equipment. Lübtheen himself has a total of twelve playgrounds in the urban area and in the districts, which significantly expands the leisure opportunities for children in the region.
