Fehmarnbelt Days: Lübeck celebrates German-Scandinavian friendship!

Lübeck, Deutschland - In Lübeck, the event “Fehmarnbelt Days 2025” began on Saturday afternoon. The event was opened by Lübeck Mayor Jan Lindenau (SPD) and the Kiel European Minister Werner Schwarz (CDU). The Fehmarnbelt Days are all about the deepening of the German-Scandinavian friendship and are intended to point out the importance of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel, which will bring together countries in more detail from 2029.

The event, which lasts until June 16, 2025, combines many elements-from a Hanse culture festival to the Duckstein Festival to a trade fair. Central events take place around the music and congress hall (MUK) and along the banks. This conference, organized by the IHK zu Lübeck, will continue until Monday and addresses the opportunities of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel for sustainable growth and economic dynamics.
