Chemie Leipzig: Full start for young talents with new training times!

BSG Chemie Leipzig is facing a new beginning. The club wants to bring a breath of fresh air into meteorology with a comprehensive squad shake-up. In the future, the team will rely on new training times and improved infrastructure in order to reduce the gap to the competition in the regional league. In an interview, new board member Gregor Schoenecker made it clear: “We are not yet at professional level,” but emphasizes the ambition to create professional conditions and advance the development of the club.

One of the key changes is the introduction of morning training, which now takes place twice a week. This means players will no longer have to train exclusively in the evenings, which was previously a hurdle for some due to work commitments. As kicker.de reports, young players can now be better integrated because the training structure offers more flexibility.

Focusing on young talent

The BSG primarily considers young players who come from youth performance centers. These players are motivated and aim for a career in higher leagues. Head coach Adrian Alipour emphasizes that the new training options are crucial to increasing concentration and performance. The focus is on players with talent who are willing to commit intensively and do not exceed the club's budget. David Bergner from the sports management emphasized the willingness of the newcomers to train seven times a week.

With these new framework conditions, the club not only promises a direct positive impact on its own team, but also on the youth department. The ability to now train in the evenings in winter will sustainably improve talent development. Further planned measures, such as a funding commitment for a second artificial turf pitch and the construction of a new functional building with cabins, could significantly improve the situation. In the words of board member Uwe Thomas, the club appears to be on the right track: “We are developing in the right direction and the focus is on having fun.”

BSG Chemie Leipzig is thus setting the course for a promising future that focuses not only on sporting performance, but also on the development of young talent. Thanks to the improved infrastructure and the experience of the young players, the club could play an important role in the regional league in the future.
