Culture for everyone: Crowdfunding saves Leipzig's empty cultural sites!

Leipzig, Deutschland - In Leipzig, numerous people have difficulty affecting a theater visit, a concert or even a museum visit. This worrying development caused many places in cultural institutions to remain empty regularly. In order to counteract this Problem, the Kulturleben Leipzig & region initiative was launched in 2012, which enables free cultural experiences for people with low incomes. This is reported by the Leipziger Internet Zeitung .

To continue the important project, the initiative recently started a crowdfunding campaign on the StartNext platform. The goal is to collect 6,000 euros that are required to cover running costs and to promote cultural participation. Each donation up to 100 euros is automatically doubled by the Aventis Foundation as part of this campaign within the framework of its funding program, which increases the chance to achieve the donation goal. The cultural mut program is committed to cultural promotion and supports numerous initiatives in Germany.

support and commitment

The initiative Kulturleben conveys unsold event cards to people interested in culture free of charge and is supported by more than 80 cultural institutions in and around Leipzig. This cooperation shows the broad network and the backing that cultural life in the region enjoys. The crowdfunding campaign offers everyone the opportunity to contribute to cultural justice by donating and sharing the initiative in its social networks.

The importance of cultural access for all people underlines the commitment of Kulturleben Leipzig & region, which can grow even more strongly with the support of the aventis foundation and the crowd-community. By actively participating in the campaign, they prove that cultural participation is an important social task for everyone.
