Cigarette thieves in Leipzig: Escape into the water ends lightly!

The police in Leipzig were called for an unusual use on the night of June 17, 2025. Three men had tried to open a cigarette machine in the Knautkleeberg-Knauthain district. Witnesses noticed the suspicious activities and informed the police around midnight. When the officials arrived, the men tried to flee.

A 31-year-old suspect could be placed in a bush nearby. The other two, 23 and 32 years old, jumped to a parking space while fleeing and then into a nearby pond to escape the arrest.
