No funding for the partial expansion of Holzhausener Straße in Lamerdingen

No funding for the partial expansion of Holzhausener Straße in Lamerdingen
At the last municipal council meeting in Lamerdingen, important decisions were made to the partial expansion of the local connection between Großkitzighofen and Holzhausen. The partial expansion, which has already been discussed several times, is in the context of the costs and funding requirements for such infrastructure projects. Mayor Manuel Fischer explained that funding was only possible if the work is carried out in a defined standard construction. This regulation lies in accordance with the provisions of the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Construction and Transport.
An approved exception in the road width was caught up by the Swabian government, which allows the width to reduce the width to 5.5 meters. A partial attachment of the banquet is required for narrower banquet widths. The municipal council also debated the financial aspects and the feasibility of a funded expansion, which is only considered if the financial situation of the budget reflects this in the coming years.
Financial overview and construction costs
At the meeting on March 25th, various variants and the estimated construction costs were presented. The expansion includes a length of 800 meters to behind the Singold curve. The estimated costs for the chosen milling process with edge cuffs amount to around 515,000 euros gross. In addition, there are costs for the planning office of around 15,300 euros gross and a building basic report of around 5,000 euros gross. Alternatively, a pure road maintenance with a widening of 5.5 meters and estimated costs of around 340,000 euros was presented, whereby the planning costs are not taken into account here.
The floor examinations showed asphalt thicknesses of 7 cm and a frost -proof superstructure of around 50 cm. However, according to the ground report, a superstructure of 45 cm and an asphalt thickness of 14 cm would be sufficient. However, a stress class BK 1.0 is required for the use of the local connection road, which requires a minimum sizes of 18 cm and a top -of -construction of 60 cm, which would result in additional costs of around 360,000 euros gross.
no funding application made
In view of the high costs and the assessment that the milling process was uneconomical in the event of a road extension, the local council unanimously decided against a funding application. The work is now being awarded to the most economical provider. In order to accelerate the procurement process, the administration will send a simple list of services with the required procurement documents to interested construction companies. The regulations for financing and funding in road construction projects in Bavaria are subject to the requirements of the Bavarian Financial Equale Act. Various street categories, such as federal highways, state roads, district and municipal roads, as well as their specific funding opportunities, are clearly defined here. Further information on this can be found on the website of the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Building and Transport.
