An attentive neighbor immediately took the initiative and carried out initial extinguishing measures until the fire department arrived. When the emergency services arrived, they started extinguishing the fire and cooled the affected gas bottle to prevent further danger. Fortunately, there were no injuries in this incident. The gas grill and the grilled food were significantly affected by the fire. The fire department from Holzhausen regularly carries out operations.
Traffic disruptions during the operation
Paschinger Straße (L1227), near the scene, was only passable in one lane for about half an hour. The fire department coordinated traffic and took turns guiding vehicles past the scene to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
