Successful sounds: results of the district music festival in Diessen!
On August 17, 2025, many music clubs in the Ammersee-Lech district will look back on a successful district music festival, which got off to an important start in May with the competition games. Numerous ensembles took part in these competitions, which took place three months before the festival. The results of the open evaluation were first announced, while further results were explained at the big festival in Dettenschwang. Augsburger Allgemeine reports that the clubs' particularly high interest was recorded in the concert ranking, where 13 ensembles competed against each other in four performance levels. Each ensemble presented both a compulsory and a self-selected piece.
The top performer in the upper level was the Holzhausen music band under the direction of Gerhard Böck, which achieved very good success with 89.8 points. In the middle school, several music clubs stood out: the Pflersch music band, conducted by Martin Rainer, achieved an incredible 96.3 points, followed by the Hohenfurch brass band, the Denklingen music club and the Dießen music club, all of which achieved excellent results.
