In the 27th round of the Landesliga West there was a goalless draw between SPG Esternberg/St. Roman and the SPG Pettenbach/Grünau. Around 250 spectators watched the intense encounter, which offered numerous scoring opportunities for both sides, but ended without a goal. The loss of several players due to injury placed additional strain on the Esternberg team.
