The construction of the new school could begin at the earliest in February, depending on the consent of the city council after the summer break.

The opening of the teaching company is planned for the school year 2029/30, which is why the 39th school was moved by five years. Teachers and students must continue to remain at the old location, while the new school is temporarily used as a location for the Hans-Kroch primary school and the Geschwister-Scholl primary school, the renovation of which is still pending.
