Reichenbacher FC: With momentum towards the next win against promotion candidates!
After a successful cup weekend, Reichenbacher FC (RFC) returns to the Sachsenliga, where it is preparing for a decisive game against SG Handwerk Rabenstein. In the last encounter, however, the Reichenbachers suffered a bitter defeat. Stahl Riesa, who came fourth last year, did not fail to exploit their superiority and won clearly 4-1 in front of 325 spectators in Reichenbach. Coach Daniel Wohllebe's team struggled in the first half and was only able to take the lead for a short time thanks to a free kick from David Günnel in the 11th minute.
As a result, Riesa showed a strong performance. Franz-Josef Zech equalized in the 28th minute, and Marcel Fricke (76th minute) and Jaroslav Benda (86th and 89th minutes) scored the further goals in the second half. Wohllebe saw a disorganized first half with many ball losses during the build-up to the game. Only with the substitution of Fricke and Georg Liesch did the team gain new momentum, but the comeback came too late. After the opening defeat against Stahl Riesa, the RFC was able to win the last three competitive games, with victories against Eutritzsch (1:0) and SC Borea (4:0).

The RFC's momentum after these successes could be decisive when they now meet SG Handwerk Rabenstein, which is also considered a candidate for promotion. The Reichenbachers are optimistic that they can continue their winning streak and learn from their previous performances, especially from the mistakes made in the game against Stahl Riesa.
