Ukrainian transporter at the border crossing: customs discovers animals!

Last Monday, emergency services from the Chemnitz Federal Police Station checked a van with Ukrainian registration at the border crossing in Reitzenhain. The driver, a 45-year-old Ukrainian citizen, made people sit up and take notice during the check. To solve the problem, the veterinary office was immediately called in because the transporter was loaded with animals.

After a quick clarification, the man was able to enter Germany with his animals after paying the required security deposit. Further proof of the strict controls at the borders!
