On June 24, 2025, at around 7:45 p.m., federal police officers became active at the Polish border in Zittau as part of increased controls. A 22-year-old Ukrainian woman was discovered during a check on a bus coming from Liberec. She could not produce any documents that would legitimize her stay.
The emergency services reacted immediately: The young woman was first taken to the office, where an investigation was opened for attempted unauthorized entry. She was then sent back to Poland. Another case that illustrates the strict security measures at Germany's borders!
