Zittau, Deutschland - Federal Police in Zittau were surprised on July 22, 2025 about an unexpected event. While they checked a van coming from Poland at 7:20 a.m., the driver of a Polish SUV driving behind him wanted to drive past right - and pushed a lane divider in front of them! A surprising maneuver that immediately attracted the attention of the officials.

Since the suspicion of alcohol was at the wheel, the colleagues from the Zittau-Oberland police station were consulted. A breath alcohol test revealed an alarming value of around 1.6 per thousand! Now the Polish driver sees serious accusations for driving under the influence of intoxicating means and without a valid driving license.
