In a rapid operation, from September 24, 2025, the forces of the Federal Police Inspectorate Berggiesshübel executed six arrest warrants from various German public prosecutor's offices at the border crossings with the Czech Republic in less than 24 hours. The arrests involved people from Bulgaria and Romania who were wanted for drunk driving and driving without a license.
Despite the serious allegations, those arrested were able to avoid going to prison by paying fines. A total of 8,715 euros will go to the justice coffers. A remarkable and rapid access that underlines the efficiency of the Federal Police!
