Last night there was a dramatic traffic accident on the Street of Peace in which two two-wheeler riders were injured. The 16-year-old Simson rider, part of a group of like-minded people, was trying to turn the road when he collided with a 43-year-old Kawasaki rider behind him. Both drivers had to be taken to hospital after suffering injuries from the collision.
The police closed the entire roadway while the accident was being investigated and the fire brigade was on duty to clean up any spilled fuel. The traffic accident service has started an investigation into negligent bodily harm against the Simson driver. The circumstances of the accident are now the subject of a detailed investigation.
