Riot on Alaunstrasse: Young people attack police officers and man!
On Wednesday night, two 15-year-olds caused chaos on Alaunstrasse and didn't let the police stop them. Witnesses reported a group of young people overturning garbage cans and hitting objects. When the officers arrived, the alleged rioters fled, but the police were able to arrest two of the young people. They fought back violently and injured two officers. The situation escalated when the girls' supporters intervened, but other forces were able to bring it under control.
A short time later, the police were called to Alaunstrasse again: an 18-year-old had been attacked by around seven unknown attackers. The attack, presumably because of the victim's eye-catching tattoo, ended with the man suffering minor injuries while the attackers fled. The police are now investigating dangerous bodily harm and physical attacks on law enforcement officers.
