In the early morning of June 13, 2025, there was a sensational incident in Neugersdorf: a patrol of the Federal Police Ebersbach checked a 22-year-old German. When the officers checked his personal details, the young man suddenly reached into his waistband and handed over a telescopic stick to the police.

The police reacted immediately: the truncheon was secured and an advertisement was made against the man. Such incidents also highlight the challenges with which the security forces are confronted - even at a late hour they have to be vigilant!
