Border surveillance in Bärenstein: Albanians arrested with entry ban!
On June 12, 2025, at around 10:30 p.m., the federal police and the state police observed two vehicles at the Bärenstein border crossing, one with German registration and the other with Albanian registration. During a subsequent check in Sehma, there were no abnormalities with the Albanian vehicle. The driver presented valid Albanian passports and German residence permits, while the passenger could only present an Albanian passport without residence permits.
The check on the passenger resulted in a ban on entry into Germany and a refusal to enter Hungary. The man is therefore being turned back from Frankfurt/Main Airport to Tirana, Albania today.
