Border controls in Bad Muskau: Two Sudanese fail to enter the country!

Federal police officers at the Bad Muskau city bridge caught a 19-year-old man from Sudan in the act yesterday morning! The young man tried to get to Germany in a quick run - but without a passport or residence permit. The officials reacted immediately and initiated proceedings on suspicion of violating the residence law.

A day earlier there was a similar incident: a 20-year-old Sudanese man tried to cross the bridge illegally with a 26-year-old Eritrean. They also ignored the police officers' requests and simply wanted to escape. Both were taken into custody, but their entry failed due to the same document deficiencies. Ultimately, all three migrants were returned to Poland.
