Acts of violence at the main train station: use of pepper spray and injuries!
The Federal Police Inspectorate in Dresden reports alarming incidents of physical injuries at the train stations in Dresden at the weekend. On June 15, 2025, at around 6:55 p.m., an argument broke out between two Syrian nationals in the main train station. An 18-year-old used pepper spray, which resulted in not only a 10-year-old child being affected, but also security staff and other travelers. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the young man because he was already known to the police from similar incidents.
Another incident occurred on June 13, 2025, when a 25-year-old Venezuelan appeared at the federal police complaining about punches and kicks from two unknown women. Video footage shows one of the women punching him directly in the face. The investigation is ongoing and the police are looking for further witnesses. The safety of travelers remains a priority for federal police officers.
