On Tuesday evening, around 7:20 p.m., there was a heated argument on Frauenstrasse in Zittau. What was initially just a verbal conflict quickly escalated: a 31-year-old attacked a 25-year-old several times and slightly injured her. But that wasn't all! When a 19-year-old tried to defuse the situation, he was also injured by the attacking German.
Rescue workers were on the scene immediately and took the two victims to hospital for treatment. The police have started an investigation into dangerous bodily harm and have expelled the suspect. The criminal investigation service of the Zittau-Oberland police station is conducting further investigations.
