Hazardous substance leak in Klotzsche: Fire brigade saves eleven people!

In Klotzsche, Dresden, a dangerous incident occurred in the laboratory on Hermann-Reichelt-Straße on December 4th. After reports of a hazardous substance leak, the fire department was alerted and cleared the entire building. The approximately 11 people present were temporarily accommodated in the Dresden airport terminal while they waited for further medical care.

The emergency services examined everyone affected, with four people being transported to clinics to clarify possible health risks. The rest were able to go home, but were given urgent advice to see a doctor immediately if they had symptoms such as dizziness or nausea. Although access to the laboratory remains closed, other areas of the building can be used regularly again. The police and the responsible supervisory authority have started investigating the cause of the leak and are working to clarify the incident.
