Arrest at the border crossing: Wanted Romanian for sexual harassment!

In the early morning of January 14, 2026, emergency services from the Berggiesshübel Federal Police Inspectorate checked a coach with Romanian registration at the Breitenau border crossing. Among the inmates was a 32-year-old Romanian who was wanted for sexual harassment. The Bruchsal district court had issued an arrest warrant against him.

After his arrest, the man was immediately taken to the Pirna district court, where the arrest warrant was put into effect. He was then taken to the Dresden correctional facility. The authorities have shown decisive action in the fight against crime by successfully removing the wanted perpetrator from circulation.
