E-bike thieves strike: 8,700 euros worth of damage in Delitzsch and Leipzig!
On Sunday, an e-bike owner experienced a shocking theft: unknown perpetrators stole his valuable KTM e-bike, worth around 2,500 euros, from a bike rack while he was briefly away. The thieves only left behind another bike of the same brand. The Delitzsch police secured evidence at the crime scene and have initiated an investigation into particularly serious theft.
But that wasn't the only incident! Thieves also struck in Leipzig and stole two Cube e-bikes worth a total of around 6,200 euros, which were also secured to a bike rack. Here too, the Leipzig-Nord police station has started investigating serious theft. The darkness of crime spreads across the city as the police work feverishly to solve the crimes.
