On December 3, 2025 at 6:00 a.m., the emergency services from the Chemnitz Federal Police Station spoke to a Macedonian national at the border crossing in Reitzenhain and carried out a check. When the 33-year-old was checked, it turned out that there was an arrest warrant from the Meiningen public prosecutor's office for drunk driving.
On December 2nd, another arrest warrant was executed, this time by the Essen public prosecutor's office, due to a violation of the Compulsory Insurance Act. The man was immediately arrested and is now facing legal consequences.
