On Sunday night, the Dresden fire department had to put out several fires in the city center. Nobody was injured.
Dresden Night is ablaze: three fires in the city center!
On the night of Sunday, September 14, 2025, the Dresden fire department was in constant operation in the city center area. Between 1:53 a.m. and 3:18 a.m., emergency services had to put out several fires. First, a bulk goods container burned on Roßbachstrasse, which was filled with insulation material and was blazing to its full extent. The firefighters managed to fight the flames with around 1,600 liters of water.
Not long afterwards, at 2:30 a.m., a fire was reported on Seidnitzer Strasse, where three large waste containers and a construction site fence were in flames. Here too, the firefighters fought back with a jet pipe and around 1,000 liters of water. A total of 22 emergency services from the Albertstadt and Altstadt fire and rescue stations were on duty. Luckily there were no injuries, but the police have started investigating the cause of the fire.
