Dresden Central Station: Federal Police arrested criminals!

The Federal Police Inspection Dresden has made several arrests in the area of the Dresden main station and in an international passenger train in the past few days. On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, a 38-year-old man was taken up during a check. There was an arrest warrant against him for theft, which provides for a fine of 1,500 euros or alternatively 75 days. During the check, a clip bag was also found with a crystalline substance, whereupon the German was admitted to the Dresden correctional facility.

A day later, in the early morning hours of July 16, 2025, a 24-year-old Turkish citizen noticed who was on the move with a valid toleration. A review showed that an arrest warrant from the Chemnitz public prosecutor's office was available against him on the basis of a fine of 381 euros, an alternative in prison. Since the man was unable to pay the fine, he was also taken to the Dresden correctional facility.
