Federal police caught 20-year-old: money debts prevent freedom!
On Monday evening, the federal police in Görlitz stopped a Polish Audi at the An der Neiße motorway rest area. The driver, a 20-year-old man, was arrested after an identity check revealed two arrest warrants from the Leipzig public prosecutor's office from April of this year.
The young man had the opportunity to withdraw money from an ATM to pay off his debts - a whopping 6,181.02 euros were supposed to free him from prison. But the arrested man's account did not have the necessary funds! That meant he went straight behind bars – another case for the police!
