Drunk border crossers: Police stop drivers without a license and on drugs!

At the weekend, the federal police in Brückendorf stopped two drivers who were driving without a driver's license. During a mobile border control on December 5th at 11:25 a.m., a 32-year-old Polish driver who arrived from the Czech Republic was noticed and tried to evade control through a forest path. His attempt to escape was unsuccessful! The man not only had a driving ban, but was also under the influence of amphetamines.

The men are now on trial for driving under the influence of intoxicants. The Polish driver will also face a criminal charge for driving without a license. Another male driver is also being investigated for violating weapons law. The state police have taken over the further investigation.
