Alcohol alarm at the airport: Passenger with 3 per mille banned from the flight!
A heavily intoxicated passenger caused a stir at Leipzig Airport. A 45-year-old man, who was due to board a flight to Funchal at the last minute, was asked to leave the passenger terminal by airport staff due to his suspicious behavior and the strong smell of alcohol. The pilot then decided to exclude him from the flight.
The check revealed a shocking breath alcohol level of over 3 per mille! The alerted federal police officers took the man, who was already considered intolerable, out of the security area, while the rest of the passenger traffic went largely undisturbed. Another warning shot for anyone who wants to overdo the holiday modes!
