Aggressive Venezuelan at Leipzig Central Station: Police officers injured!

On Saturday evening, September 6th, an aggressive Venezuelan was checked by the federal police in Leipzig Central Station. The 24-year-old, who did not want to identify himself, hit an officer in the chest and refused to give out his personal details. In the ensuing scuffle, the police officer injured his shins. It was only with the help of other officers that the man could finally be handcuffed and taken to the police station.

On the way there, he was recognized by a victim who identified him as the perpetrator of bodily harm. The Venezuelan had previously punched a 22-year-old German in the face. Criminal proceedings have now been initiated against him for assault and battery.
