Aggression on the train: Train driver seriously injured in attack!
The federal police are urgently looking for witnesses after a frightening incident on the RE 50 regional express that took place on the route from Leipzig to Dresden on Saturday evening, November 22nd, 2025. During the journey around 11 p.m. there were several verbal and physical attacks between Priestewitz and Coswig. The crowning highlight: an aggressive man attacked the train driver when he tried to remove him from the train. The train driver suffered injuries in the brutal altercation.
The Dresden Federal Police Inspectorate is calling on anyone who knows anything about the incident to come forward. Information can be given by calling 0351 81502-0. There is an urgent need for information to hold perpetrators accountable and ensure safety on trains.
