Late in the evening of January 15, 2026, at exactly 11:30 p.m., the federal police targeted an 18-year-old German at Chemnitz Central Station. During the check it turned out that there was an arrest warrant from the Lünen district court against the young man - and for an unexpected reason: failure to complete compulsory schooling!
The young man was immediately taken to the federal police offices and is now awaiting further legal action. But here comes the surprising twist: the arrest warrant was temporarily suspended by the responsible district court! A dangerous runaway from school can take a breather, but the story is far from over!
